This is the video we made from the Carnival Splendor Cruise to Mexico including Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas during February 2010. Also includes footage from Pole Positon Go Kart racing in Murrieta, California

Awesome video! We're going on the same boat in May, sadly no stop in Mazatlan, but two days in Cabo. Did you like your ATV tour in Puerto Vallarta? Looks fun, who did you go with?

@mh744 Yeah it was in Puerto Vallarta, we booked it through "puerto vallarta tours (dot) net. It was called Canopy-Tour-Atv We had to provide our own transportation getting to and from their ATV lot. We've gone on many cruises, and we found that even though you will save money booking directly through the tour yourself, the extra money spent on booking through the cruiseline is worth it. One time our bus back to the ship was SOOO late but they had to wait cause it cruise booked excursion.

@mh744 The other couple we went was a good friend from high school. We usually go on 2 cruises a year. One with no kids, and the other with 1 kid (we rotate which kid goes on the cruise each year, 3 kids total, so they get to go once every 3 years).

You video is so damn nice! Nice job in the editing, I just got my GoPro 1 day ago! I will receive my chest harness next week. I was wondering if you have any safety line while using the suction cup? And for the water slide or when jumping in the water, do you have a mini tripod like a 6inch stick or something? What is your resolution you use? r3 or r5? I realise that the r4 is totally worth for chest mount!! Thanks a bunch!

@JeromeDemers The suction cups are amazing, by far the best mount. I didn't use a safety like cause you can easily see if the suction cup will work or not. The only time I was a little scared was on the jetski, a safety line would of been nice, but since I didn't have one, I just checked it every once in a while. But really, the suction cups can lift a house, they are way strong.

On the slide, yeah I used the 6" handle, but holding the suction cup mount would of worked just as easily.

@JeromeDemers also, I filmed everything in 720p 60fps thinking I would want to do a lot of slow motion stuff. I regretted it later since I never did anything slow motion, I would of preferred the 1080p setting. Im not in front of my gopro so I don't know which settings those are. I went overboard and bought every mount possible, but I only really use the suction cups and chest mount. I NEVER use any of the rollbar mounts cause they take way too long to setup. The suction cups are done in 2 sec.

I havent used the 3M mounts for anything, nothing I was sticking these to were mine, like it was just a rented Jetski, I didnt want to use a 3M mount on something that was temporary. The suction cups are REALLY strong.
