mine is a bitch to start when its cold
-
ya i got a 98 srx 700 and mine sat all summer and then it took like 5 pulls and after that it took one
-
Yep.....
-
does this work as good as putting gas in the cylinders
-
Yeah it can be a pain in the ass. You can also rock the primary back and forth 1/4 turns to prime the engine.

In the beginning of the season I have to pull the plugs on my 98 SRX and clean them, then prime the cylinders with mixed gas. Only then can I get a first pull start. Other than that, love my machine.

been sitting over night cold night remove the plugs drop little gas down put plugs back in fires 2nd try if not 20 pulls before it fires?
-
mine starts real good when its in the garage but if it sits outside all night its just a bear to start
Is this cold start, after 1 day or more from running ? I have an srx 700 and it takes 10 plus pulls to start when cold . I am talking about a cold Motor not the outside air .

Most SRX's are a bitch after sitting a while. I spent alot of time working with jetting, adjusting and syncing the carburetors so it always started 1-2 pulls but since new it was a 5-7 pull sled when really cold.
