Working on a rail road spike knife. This was done in 2008, then I miss placed the video, but found the video a few days ago and thought it needed to be posted. I did all this work on the ground using primative methods to show that it could be done this way. I used a charcoal forge with a hand pump, to forge this rail road spike on a peice of rail road track. The track was buried in the ground to make it feel heavier. boanergescustomknives.com

  • @pyramonitor don't like coal, used it for years. I love charcoal

  • try to find low sulphur coal, will make better steel. and maybe less slag ^_^ cool blade form.
