Man I love the grove.
DVD Menus are so hard to make new without faking allot of the stuff and editing buttons into the video itself.

Great concept, but I found that these types of menus tend to fail went put into practice. For one: where would the menu loop point be at?. Don't get wrong, but given the way DVD Menu Authoring software works some functions may not work as expected. Most DVD Menu software require the buttons be static. Now if you put a white selection bar under the text, but then it won't be visible to let the user know where the cursor is. Also, where is the Menu return point going to be? Things to think about.

@EBTL0947 actually, the buttons are just the blinking thing at the bottom. of course, i cant make the monitors clickeable, but on the authoring, i made an arrow pointing up, in front of the other name. that why they are mixed, the one on the left is the option of the right, and so.
I dont know if that thing is understandable, but it was just an experiment or something, looking how an alternative/original dvd menu can be made.

how do you get that dynamic lights from video ?

they are not dynamic, they are faked. but they look just like there were dynamic... its very simple, to get the monitor lights on the floor, just use the same video blured and inverted as a proyection map on a spotlight behind the monitors, excluding the monitors of course.

So I have a real comment.
I am assuming that the buttons are the white box at the bottom.
If so, that might be confusing for newbs... ie most of the public. If you took out the subtle movements after the initial fly in, you could place the buttons right on top of the video and text.
Just a thought.
