It's so fresh & professional. Very chill open. It reflects the stations dedication to professionalism. As good as the Hothaus era graphics were, this style definitely fits the station much better.

Do they use this all the time now? Do they use the musicforinformation package anymore?

Certainly is different and imaginative, and it is nicer than some of the louder news opens one sees in some places. It's so mellow, though, that it sounds like a public service announcement at an airport, but a bit snobbier. I prefer something that makes me excited to tune in, like the old "We're Thinking News" jingle WCCO had back in the 1980s.

Boy, do I like this! Sure beats the "LIVELOCALLATEBREAKING" screaming and "Speed-Racer"-like graphics we get from most other station. I sure hope this type of open catches on...!
