when you hear these sirens?

I know, it's probably boring to watch this, but around here, we get a lot of Tornadoes, so this noise is all too familiar and it could cost you your life if youre not prepared.

This is from a few weeks ago as TS fay was moving inland. We always catch the tail end of all storms off the coast. It rained for 3 days straight from that evening.

  • thats some eerie shit. closest i ever got to a tornado was a few hours after it happened. flying j in cheyenne. was a mess.

  • They are eerie sounding. There's one state that has a talking siren. Like the weather guy you here on police scanners and what not ya know?? And people say it sounds like G*D talking from the heavens. Imagine how eerie that would be.

I love tornadoes tho. Their dangerous but pack so much power that their just amazing to see.

  • I've never been in a City where they have sirens like these, so NO I would not know what to do.

  • Well, it's certainly not be standing outside filming it. lol I tend to push it but I love tornadoes. They scare the f**k outta me but I love them just the same.

Take cover is the smartest thing to do.

  • Wow doob..better be careful. I used to live in LA myself (lower alabama) :)

  • Always my man, always!

Tornadoes are such an adrenaline rush. Dangerous but I love them.

  • yea, but don't go chasing after them like some crazy people out there.

  • Gosh, they must be really old and they still work? That is cool!

  • We still have the old world war 2 sirens, working! They test them every 2 weeks!

    Cool vid

  • We hardly use to have tornadoes but then every year, we started having more and more till we got hit big time back in '02 (2 F4's simultaneously). So they installed new sirens.
