@ginsengsamurai Do you honestly think the royals give money to these charities? They simply put their names to them; doesn't cost them a penny. as to the Royal Estates. Where do you imagine this land came from in the first place? Stolen from the British people! Do you realise that the Royal publicity machine which creates this rubbish is paid for by the tax payer. i suggest you open your mind a tad.

@Boccherini64: And here's another interesting fact for you: The Royal Family contributes to over 3000 charities around the world, over 600 of that from Queen Elizabeth herself. Hmm... Oh by the way, tax payers give less than a dollar to the Queen per year AND most of that goes to the administration of her house - eg: the employees and maintenance. Furthermore, most of the income the Royal Family receives come from their private estates and businesses and NOT from tax payers.
