  • @Myrtle791 See Fusejockey's statement above...:o)-

  • Loved this - as a kid, "It's Wallace?" on KPHO-TV 5 in Phoenix, Wallace & Ladmo liked Ernie Kovacs so much this was their theme song for their Kids TV show. The show ran for 36 years - my kids watched it also...LoL

  • @allendale1962 Have you ever done this one? It might be right up your street.

  • Thanx for the memory. Loved his comedy, loved this theme

  • As one can find on Ernie's grave marker, "Nothing in Moderation".

  • Gone Too Soon!

  • This version was first used by Ernie as his theme for "TAKE A GOOD LOOK"'s second season (1960-'61), then for his monthly series of specials during the remainder of 1961...including the final one telecast after his death in January 1962.

  • I remember this when I was a kid. I used to watch Ernie Kovacs. Years later, I heard George Gershwin's Rialto Ripples.. This theme is an altered version of it.

  • Watched Kovacs every morning before school (5th grade). I thought he was the greatest. My mom didn't really get it, but she let me watch anyway.

  • Gimbel Bros. Was that Gimbels? I'm originally from NY so that jumped right out at me. ^_^
