Oh, and we had this wonderful president "Dubya," you may have heard of him, who managed to change the bankruptcy laws to make them incredibly punitive.
Half the country is terrified that free health care will take away our freedom but sat idly by as creditors were given EXTREME advantages over people in financial desperation (usually because of health care costs).
We're doing just great on our side of the pond...

I agree. Too many people fought & died for our freedom of speech aswell as other basic human rights we enjoy in the West. We shall defend it till the end.
