BTW, our MB will be in your area very soon! Were going to be the first MB in line in the upcoming Fiesta Bowl parade on Jan. 2. We were also invited to compete in the Fiesta Bowl National Marching Band Field Show Championship on Jan 1, but were 3,000 miles away from AZ, and with the current economy, only 75% of our band could afford to make the trip. We cant do our field show with 60 members absent - were doing the parade at 3/4ths strength.
Aloha!

Watch our 2005 field show Pirates (the show that put Moanalua HS MB & CG in the national spotlight), 2008 show 1001 Arabian Nights, and this years show When Kings Go Off To War.

Yuma High School did this in Fall of 05...musicality on this one is ROUGH...yuma high school's show that year was AMAZZING!!! way better than this!!!
-
Kealakehe Waverider Band has almost the same uniform..but with the light blue stripes on the side of the pants..Mehehune Band Rocks!!....Can someone from MHS come to Kealakehe and teach some rifle routines??

VanceHu, Kapono79 - that's cool. Same concept with different arrangement is fine. Similar to the "push" that some feel was copied from Mililani. It's not "copied" or "plagiarizing".
BTW, Moanalua has been invited to participate in the National Marching Band Field Show Championship in Tempe, Arizona on January 1, 2010, and in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl parade the following day. Go Menehunes!

Sorry dude, VanceHu is right. Different arrangement for sure, but RCC concepts.
-
No, we didn't. But if you say so . . .
-
Dude, you guys totally took the idea from 1993/1994/2003 RCC show.
Hi Maria. Congrats to Yuma! And thx for watching.
I'd agree that '07 wasn't one of our better shows - our marching band director was on sabbatical that year, so our asst MB director took over that one season. Our MB director writes all our drills and his absence showed in '07. We were glad to have him back in '08.
I think musically, the most difficult field show weve done recently was this years adaptation of David Holsteins In The Springtime, When Kings Go Off To War (see below).
