Argentinian Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients:
1 Bunch of parsley
1 -1.5 heads of Garlic
1.5 cups of plain vinegar
¾ cup of water
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp paprika
3 English peppers
3 Bay leaves (herb)
Sprinkle of red chili
Black peppers to taste

How to prepare:
Chop the parsley rough
Grind the Garlic and add to the parsley
Put a pot on a medium hit, and add the vinegar, the water,
Sugar,
Salt,
Paprika,
English pepper and bay leaves,
Chili
And black pepper
Bring to a boil and turn the fire off.
Wait 5 min,
Pour the liquid on the parsley and the garlic till its covered.
Wait for one hour and then pour into a closed container.
Leave in the refrigerator for at least one night before using.
Last for six month in the refrigerator
Excellent on BBQ meat, fried steaks, fish or chicken.

  • Interesting recipe, although this is NOT original Argentine chimichurri. Why the cheesy B-movie soundtrack?

  • @AquarianTigerProdCo This is my mom's recipe, original from Santa Fe, Argentina, but there are many version for chimichurri :)
