Congratulating the B.C. Deaf community and the ICED 2010 Planning committee for coming up with such inspiring document, New Era - a Statement of Principle and an Accord for the Future, Ella then goes on to critically examine AGBell's response found in their 7/23/10 Update. She quotes Veditz from his precious 1913 film "The Preservation of Sign Language."

@TheSterlingJOe Yeah! Veditz was AMAZING! did you know that it appears that he created the word "television"? In a letter he wrote to AGB, congratulating on the telephone..he suggested that we focus for Deaf people a "teleVISION"...that fits with our greatest doors to information - our eyes. Need to confirm this tho but this shows how Veditz thinks.

You good at using cross-reference from Veditz's statement "enemies" and "true welfare for the deaf" Didn't think until you present that... That's quite eye-opener... We gotta collect the history and notorious timelines on what AGBell and those enemies have been doing to Deaf People, create a video called "AGBell Deception"

@aguabo Edwin Black's book "The War Against the Weak" has references to AGBell's involvement in eugenics. Another book "The Telephone Gambit" explains how AGB "stole" the phone patent. Other books by Douglas Baynton, Harlan Lane, etc. and more documents and how we present them will present a very dark side of AGB - not just the person but the organization as well.

Thank-you ELLA for keeping us in the Deaf center, washing the mud from our eyes and growing the roots of solidarity. It inspires us and gives us hope. The Deafhood collective will grow and get stronger and stronger, making the AG Bell camp nervous. Then we recognize who our true enemies are. Soon we will come out of the plague of the last one bundred thirty years. Finally ICED has started to break down our Berlin wall and we will keep fighting til it s demolished

The icy ICED tip of massively huge Deaf' iceberg had just tipped, and it's starting to roll over and exposing Veditz's accurate predictions... Just like a rolling stone gathers no moss in no time, well, move on MIlan 1880, we are not in Ice Age period now. @ASLElla yeah. My parents gave me a CI when I was only two and had no idea till now. Also I heard CI company works with some richest company who doesn't give a crap about us. That is wrong too

@EvilBookOfMonkey That's a powerful statement you made. We need to look into the financial aspects of CIs and how they are milking Deaf people's bodies to make money and power for themselves over Deaf people, our lives, our organizations, our language, etc. I believe this is wrong.
