I am the Father of TWO beautiful daughters, and the Grandfather of TWO more, now ages 46,44,12, & 5..... I've listened/played this song many times... always brings tears to my eyes. It is beautiful and heart warming. Blessed I am to still be alive.... and thanks for youtube, I can put my albums/records/tapes to rest............Mr Bill

My dad used to play this song for me when I was growing up, all the way from I was a little girl all the way up till he got sick. He was taken by the angels in January and even now at 20 years old I'm listening to this song and it makes me cry and miss him more. Thank you for posting it.

My daddy pressed a dollar bill into my hand when I hugged him goodbye at the bus station as he was leaving to go back to his ship. He told me to buy this record. That was in 1967. I can not hear it without crying. Thank you for posting this.
