  • sounds awesome. every time I hear a demo of the axe fx i get pushed just a little closer to taking the plunge. What other gear are using in this vid? a power amp? direct in?

  • Its an ADA Microtube 200 poweramp into a single 12" combo cab.. recorded with a crappy video camera....

  • So nice to hear a clip of this unit that isn't a U2 song or U2 setting.

  • Yeah the U2 stuff is BOOOORRRRINNNGGG! I'm sure it shows the power of the unit.. but geez...I wanna hear how something can ROCK!

  • It's a great deal. 2 grand for a complete rig in one box.

  • @danuu2 Not quite. You have to buy a foot controller, power amp, and some kind of speaker. That is unless you are going direct to the pa. In that case, you only need a foot controller.

  • Couple of questions, is that a guitar speaker, or a full range speaker? Also, which presets were you using, or were they your own? thx

  • are you retarted, all i here from the axe is clasic rock shit. i really wanna get one but im not convinced the axe can handle a good black/death metal tone.

  • sounds killer to me, nice to hear some medium gain stuff instead of just metal :)

  • but i still by tvs i mean you could say that about anything. It sounds awesome compared to tube amps ive owned, really versatile. Even if something 200 times better comes out it will still sound as good as it does now, and as far as im concerned I couldn't have a better front of house sound for the money

  • and then you gotta buy something else in a few years when this unit is considered dated technology. That's why I avoid all digitally based guitar gear...I have enough money pits already to deal with like TVs, cell phones, and computers.
