There were NO weapons of mass destruction in Iraq - just as Dr. Hans Blix said; But, the Republican media machine didn't want us to hear that.
And, there is NO dangerous climate change caused by human carbon dioxide - just as the "independent scientists" are now trying to tell us! But, the Democrat media machine doesn't want us to hear that.
We are made to run from one boogieman to next, as each political party achieves its own agendas for them & their money mates.

STFU you fool!!! If someone tried to prevent this war it was Powell. You cant blame the guy for it. He was just a member of the Bush administration. So if you wanna play your stupid blame game hat least blame the right ppl.

As for agreeing or disagreeing with his viewpoints or goal, that's a completely different story however. Haha.

I'm impressed. I myself am a socialist, and ethnic Russian from the USSR, but Colin Powell seems to be an intelligent man. From this video and other ones from '07-now, it seems he's unlikely to jump to brash decisions quickly. It sounds like he gives an accurate depiction of current affairs in the world, unaffected by the Republican Party's ambitions. As for his historical actions, I don't know enough about him to comment fully. The world needs more people with caution.

after you guys invaded and destroy the country, now you gonna tell them to solve their own problem? You guys started it all by invading the country and now that you can't handle it no more, you will slowly exit and the heck with you Iraq, solve your own problems? OMG how dumb can it be

Why did some idiot give you thumbs down? He's not a mix and I think Powell may regret not running in 1996. Now his reputation is ruined due to his speech before the UN. Bush's failure has corrupted one of the few men to actually have nuance and knew the painful cost of needless fighting. Now he's tainted and Bush gets to go back to his ranch with zero accountability. How fair is that?
