  • Mot what I expected but yes the title is technically correct.

  • @DeafMuteZombie Exactly what i meant to happen!

  • Hello,

I bought it just a few months ago from velomobiel.nl, i am now the third owner (allert Jacobs was the first owner and also the builder/ designer of this velomobile. It is now about 14 years old and has driven over 240,000km's (149,254 miles!). I plan to do a coplete overhaul so i let the C-alleweder stand outside while i am working on it. Also, my garage is full of bicycles(10), a canoe, three bike trailers and a workshop. Anyway its an all season vehicle. Happy 2011!

    Cheers, Jimmo.

  • @jimmo you should be ashamed of yourself!

    Hello Jimmo

Rheim228 ran a Kojak rear tire during this recent "oliebollentocht". He had filmed some of the velomobiles with mountain bike tires on the rear. I have a Marathon Supreme which is not very good in snow. Perhaps on hard pack snow it would be but anything over a few inches it's a no go. I got caught out in a blizzard the weekend before last and ended up abandoning my Quest to go find shelter. I was wet and very cold. I was able to retrieve my Quest the next day

  • @MewFushisDad Hello there,

First: Happy New Year too you and your loved ones!

Second : I do not have much recent snow riding experience; last time i rode a velomobile (C-alleweder from Ymte Sybrandij) in the snow was in 1999/ 2000 at one of the first "oliebollentocht" tours ever.

The C-alleweder has a 20"(406 ERTRO) rear tire, i guess there was a standard tire on the back at that time.

I noticed that you reacted to the video of "Rhein228" already. Question aswered?

    Cheers, Jimmo

  • Do you leave it out side all the time?
