@bravedavemusic As real a s a busted fire hydrant! Google: Jingletown. Canneries, factories & mills formed an industrial cluster along the railroad line between 1880 & 1940. Turn of the cent small working class homes 4 workers employed by these cos. A mix of German, Italian & Portuguese immigrants, settled in Fruitvale. Paid good wages by the canneries & mills, workers were said to jingle coins in their pockets as they strolled home on payday--signifying their prosperity. Hence: "Jingletown".
