I've had the CoreTech for more than 5 years. I cut off the handle since it was banging the tail of the bike. Also, you can rig in an elastic web on top of the bag to increase storage even more! Only thing is the black model will fade a bit towards gray, but that is not an issue. Great product. Nice review.

sorrry but if it moves side to side you need something else. This is also a prob with most bags on a sport bike

Hi. I have the same tailbag. The last 2 long rides I went on, I just connected the hooks to each other UNDER the seat. It stayed secure and didn't move at all. Only disadvantage was having to take the seat off to unhook it.
What I did notice with the tailbag was that the handle of the tailbag kept hitting the top rear of the bike, causing some marks on the tail. Not scratches, but rub marks that I never could get out totally. I just tie a bit of string or rope to keep it in place.

you know, I was starting to get those to but then I started putting the bag more towards the front of the bike so that the handle hit the pillion seat instead of the paint job. If you had a backpack on it probably wouldn't be comfortable but I'm pretty small anyway and it doesn't get in the way.
Thanks for your input on your experiences!

Nice bike. Get the side bags too for long trips. You`ll like them I have the same exact color in my 2004 Katana

You know, I was thinking about those but they are like 120 bucks...kind of expensive. But if I ever do go on a long trips I'll probably give in and buy them :)
