Official Ad. Pretty much as expected from the teaser.
Apparently Samsung's building all of the parts- processor, memory, screen- in a rather Apple-like manner. I suppose it makes sense to keep all the profit in house.
The screen isn't AMOLED -some have been saying its S-LCD, or rather, LCD saturated to look almost like AMOLED. As long as its high quality I don't care

Does anyone know the name of the augmented reality app featured in the commercial? Its been driving me and my friend nuts trying to find it.

But what's better? This, or the Blackberry Playbook? The Playbook looks excellent and is set up wonderfully but I don't know if it can compete with Android and all of the apps they have to offer...

@tantoedge You should try using XDA if you are not satisfied. :)

@PinkMirrorKirby Too little too late.
I'll just wait until the Android 3.0 devices hit and be a guinea pig on that end of the consumer spectrum.
I refuse to sit on yester-months tech.

@tantoedge I agree with that long ago, but I am willing to give Samsung my last belief in them, and they did better now. (Me getting Android 2.2).

@PinkMirrorKirby True, and maybe in the future they'll do better, for now, I don't trust them. At all.
They just don't have a good track record.

@PinkMirrorKirby I mean 3 out of 4 devices.

@tantoedge They did upgrade Samsung Galaxy Spica to Android 2.1. =.=
And Samsung only released 4 Android devices (Samsung Galaxy, Samsung Galaxy Spica, Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy Tab).
Don't know if they support Galaxy Tab, but I think they would, supporting 4 out of 5 devices.
