  • With all these higher speeds, do companies actually let you USE it? Or do they throttle the hell out of it.

    For instance, in Canada we have Xplornet. Even 5mb/s users only get 0.75mb/s (ish) sustained.

    4G supports 40 or 100 mb/s even. But what's the point when every time you use it you can slowed down to sub dsl like speeds?

  • i've got 3.5G/3G+/hspda that delivers me 17mbps and that's more than enough.
