Many of you don't know but mostly all major and even some Chinese players us the same fantastic audio chip that the Cowon mp3 products have... They all use even the over rated crap of iPods... The world famous Wolfson audio sound chip, truly amazing. Wolfson is made in Europe of up the most highest quality and technology that sound has to offer!

Amazing Studio Quality mp3 player, very powerful at 74mw sound output especially for those with a sound system in their vehicles. You have to... no, You must use $100 and up high quality headphones/earphones to take full advantage of the amazing sound, trust me on this one. When I first got my D2+ 16GB at $140 total I used it with some Skull Candy earbuds, sound was ok but later last year when I got my Beats Tour, boy what a sound, I truly was missing out on the powerful sound D2+ outputted.

Well I finally got my Cowon D2+ 3 days ago & love it. The sound quality is excellent & i'm using Audio Technica CK7 canalphone with Ultimate Ear Double Flange Tips. All my music is encoded in FLAC. The sound quality is OUTSTANDING!

Okay the D2+ looks stunning with its all black finish. But it's all plastic. No metal on the body like your D2.

That should be good enough. You pretty much have a D2+ but just without the black finish.
