This is a very small glitch I ran upon. On my 2nd playthrough, it was time to learn Telekinesis, so I just skipped all cutscenes and dialog because I already knew it. Turns out that skipping the final dialog causes the game to return you to Ford's Sanctuary, but with the screen completely darkened!
When this happened, my first thought was "pulling out the inventory/power list will bring the screen back to normal" (don't ask why), and it turns out that's partially true. When you leave the inventory, the screen goes black again. You can still move around like normal, you just cant see anything. For some reason, though... Performing a Palm Bomb (attack during mid-jump) will bring everything back to normal.
I'm not sure why this happened. After all, when testing the game, it's likely they would've skipped the cutscenes, so this glitch couldn't have happened *solely* because I skipped the cutscenes. Maybe it was because of an exact sequence of things I had done before that. I tried the glitch 3 times with the same save file, and it worked all 3. If you want the save to try it for yourself, for some reason, here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/47921869/Permanent/Psychonauts%20dark%20screen/SavedG...
Use the bacon to return to Ford's Sanctuary, go to the bottom, use the PSI Challenge Marker machine, and you'll level up 2 ranks, just enough to go claim Telekinesis. Go to Ford and ask him about it. After that, just skip all dialog and it should work.
@ShadowGatex Ouch. I'm sorry.

@srb2Espyo I was so proud of my forever glitched game (returning to lungfishopolis started the Kochamara battle). Only reason I never had 100%.

@ShadowGatex Ah, I've read about that. With very careful jumps, you're able to reach Kochamara's Island, where the game attempts to recreate the script at that point in the game, and after it's done, puts you back in the real world. I didn't knew you could use it to return to your body, but I knew about it being possible to reach Kochamara's Island.

I had this glitch I discovered forever ago that I've never seen replicated before (although I never looked). After the point of no return I was able to go back to the real world by going to lungfishopolis. At the end of a first run through there would be boats floating on the lake that let you go fight Kochamarah, which disappear after completion of the level. I was actually able to jump over the clearing fight Kochamarah again and return to the real world. I've never been able to recreate this.
