Global warming - Kiribati and education

Four high school students from Kiribati, Tarawa, are discussing the effect of global warming and sea level rising at Tarawa - atoll. How is the future for young people in Kiribati - og de they have to find another place to go to?

European Union has fundet a multilateral project to protect the low lying country agains rising sea level. Besides The World Bank has project as well in Kiribati to build sea walls to protect the coast line. People are asked not to take gravel direct from the beach - and instead a projct is under way to dig gravel in the lagoon and transport it by boat and deliver it at land.
