Russians have lived through some massive social and economic changes in the past 20 years. Russias Minister of Health Care and Social Development Tatiana Golikova tells RT what that legacy now means for the country.
I shall leave from Russia if the president becomes the woman. It is a lot of shame received from Yeltzin, the woman of the president of the Russian Federation will not go through.
Russians have seen it all before, in the 90s and it was even worse during the rest of the 20 century. They are still here and perhaps better mentally equiped to survive in a crisis than some others. I think they´ll recover pretty soon.
It is going to take Russia 100 years to really recover if it can survive that long. As much as western powers have they want it all... they want all the energy Russia needs to recover for themselves so they can dominate and finally crush Russia at the same time.
Current government leaders of Russia are probably just seeing that Russia survives and can maintain stable more than anything else. Real development and recovery mayb in another 10-20 years i.e. the next generation of Russians.
Good interview. Of course, Russia have no illusions about this crisis. In summer 2008, on World Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, Medvedev in his speech worried about economic problems, created by US, and he was right. 4 months later the collapse of US economic was began.
So, it's clear, that our economic experts understand the situation, and I hope, they will do all for overcoming the crisis, and we, people, will help them.
But US "bailouts" again braking world's development.

If not for bailouts, world economy would be in much worse situation than now...
Bailouts help make the fall curve less steep. They are good as long as not excessive.
