This is a response to Tushy's Blues! I love you Elissa! If anyone has this or is having trouble with Cymbalta let me know. Should you ever need me...any of you please send me a PM I am here for you!
bipolar/depression is a love hate realationship, the meds keep me loopy, without them it gets worse, chronic pain as well, good days and bad days, I'm on seroquel, lamictal, zoloft for depr/bipolar,xanax as well for anxiety,hydrocodone7.5 x4 a day, and so we go fourth and live to see another day, thanks for the video,i can relate,i feel your pain,
maybe if it is some kind of infection there will be a way to get rid of the problems. I'm not hopeful though. But - I did start therapy today - hurrah!!! I'm quite pleased with myself! I want to get back to vlogging now that I have something positive going on. You do a great job of explaining things and I certainly relate!
You sound like me the way you describe the depression and the chronic pain and fatigue etc. I was on Cymbalta for 6 months in 07 and I don't think it helped me at all. I did notice that when I came off my psych meds in Feb last year my feelings came back so I guess I had that numbing thing going on. Now I cry easily and every day is a struggle but I don't think psych meds are the answer. Actually I'm looking into Lyme disease as a cause for my physical and psych problems. That's scary! But...
OMG Shannon the same thing happened to me after I had Makenna. I would start crying if someone even looked at me. I thought I was losing my mind. ((HUGS))
One more thing...you don't have to apologize for the video being long. Actually, I like long vids if the subject is interesting or pertains to my problems. Thx for making this vid. I'm a little shy in front of the cam. I've only made 3 vlogs. I need to get back into it.
I totally get what you're saying. I've suffered with depression since 1990 and have been on many meds. They tried to put me on Cymbalta last month but I broke out in a sunburn rash all over my body. I was just starting to feel better when I lost my Dad in Oct. Emotional pain = physical pain. I also have fibro and severe arthrtis (3 kinds), back probs, etc. I'm in chronic pain and on stromg pain meds but been on them 4 yrs. and I've become used to them. Depression really sucks! Hugs...
Depression is an incedious and difficult thing to deal with..This I know from experience. God bless you sweetie. I wish there was more that I could do than keep you in my prayers and be here if you want to talk. You are such a blessing to me. Love you, Ang
