This is the third movement of an original work by composer Phillip Roberts. It was performed at James Madison University's Composers' Recital on October 29, 2008 by Jacob Roege and Sachiko Hanamura on violin, Jessica Atienza on viola and Starlet Smith on cello. While it follows a three movement classical form, the changing time signatures and soloistic passages are inspired by progressive rock, especially that of the band Rush.

  • Sounds fun.

I like where you have the three parts doing rhythmic stuff for accompaniment (like at 1:20).
