..omg I remember going to my local movie theatre so many times to see this movie & don't even remember those gruesome scenes but i had a crush on MeMe Lay & kept going back just to see her LoL.. years ago when the internet became popular with search engines I couldn't even find this movie title, now thanks to U-tube you can watch it all over again, amazing! I also was enamoured by the sound track which was more fitting for a love story than this movie theme, does anyone where I can find it?

@Johnlindsey289 Haven't seen this in 24 years but IIRC blood was bubbling from the alligator's neck when they sliced it open. Nasty shit. Hope they actually ate what they killed.

@Johnlindsey289 IMHO, "Dances With Wolves" most likely stole it's idea from "A Man Called Horse" though I also saw the connection with this film, as well.

Do you consider this a horror version of Dances with Wolves? same damn thing only it predated it years before that. You can find obvious similarities as this is Dances with Cannibals

@Johnlindsey289 I think, in a few scenes, it was more graphic than Cannibal Holocaust even if there was more on screen killings of animals in Holocaust. A lot the the worse killings in the Deodato films was hard to see because of the shaky camera and it happens in the shade.
