This was the end result of a personal project to start teaching myself C/Arduino programming, as well as general electronics and how to interface with R/C equipment. This is probably the most boring robot ever seen, likely because he isn't actually a robot, it's just an overly-complicated R/C vehicle. So I spent the better part of $80 and a weeks worth of work to replicate what anyone can buy at Toys 'R Us for about $15. With a record like that, I should be working for the government! (Oh, wait . . .)
