canned food short term and seeds for long term food

In my opinion the best thing to do I the city is get as much canned food cu that last a lot longer and find a good but maybe smaller house and build barricades around all windows and all but one door so you can get out and just use survival skills to try to survive and I you can try to find people that you can trust and have all of you work together

"the government will take care of us". Our government has a lot less money and gold then I do , and I have about $863.00. So I can see that being the problem . So don't expect the government to take care of us . The first depression .. Our nation had gold to back it's money . And people were very self reliant . It took ten years to climb out of that horrible mess.  we are no where near that united or sustainable at this point . So lets all work on it . Wake up America

What am I going to do? Lets assume collapse, and everything is fair game. First, I'd salvage those lengths of PVC, actually. Then I'd break into the building, find out if its a defensible shelter. Around about dinner time, I'd kick myself for not prepping bugout supplies. Then I'd do what needed to be done to survive. Just my opinion.

That's an interesting question. A lot of people are buying retreats out in the country but I think people will eventually go out there once the cities are bare. At least in the cities, you're able to hide better. Out in the country, you're by yourself and can be spotted from miles away. That's a tough question to answer.
