Jessica & Duncan - Complication from the grave

Duncan's second wife, Shannon, returns from the dead, much to everyone's shock. Duncan is focused solely on Shannon, and Jessica (for the moment) is not even an afterthought. Lisa Mitchell (Tom's mother) had great love for Shannon and was very protective of her memory.

Jessica was in Chicago with a famous civil rights figure(Felix something). Duncan gets a call saying his wife was arrested at the airport and needed him to come. Believing it's Jessica, Duncan goes there and is shocked to see that the wife in question is Shannon.

Before falling for Jessica, Shannon was considered by everyone in Oakdale to be the great love of Duncan's life. He brought his castle over from Scotland brick by brick so they could spend their lives there. Then Shannon 'died'.

@CarlD2 When you compare the other stories at the time, Duncan was completely insensitive. He had his tongue down Shannon's throat as soon as she came back. At least Lily played it cool, being caught between Damian & Holden.
