@fucla70 The reason why that rule was even established was to keep the teams and recruiting even. If teams were allowed to pay theiur recruits, the richer schools would always come out in the top 25. An argument can be made that one of the main reasons Bush came to USC was because of the 'perks' he was offered.
But that doesn't even matter. What gets me in this particular game was that Bush pushed his QB into the endzone, and that probably won them the game. That play was a BIG deal.

@TheFreshTrumpet USC did not win this game just because reggie bush was at our school. same with all the other wins we had when Reggie was there. Reggie bush was not the reason we won all those games

@HEAT1996 No, I just find it ironic that the school that's had MULTIPLE NCAA issues is still praising this play. If ND had done it, I'd have rather had the game vacated just like this one. I don't want to root for a team that does that, do you?

stop whining like a bitch. lol Even Charlie Weiss said he would have had his players do the same thing. That's a part of the sport. Clausen was pushed in the endzone to beat UW last year...no crying in football.

It seems that the media and coaches are quick to discount USC. It seems that they hold USC to different standards. USC has a flipping awesome program! I may be in the SEC, but I respect USC. I just try to be more objective about cfb.

I didn't say USC couldn't, I was just pointing out that the PAC-10 didn't play any SEC teams in bowls this year. and being a Arkansas fan, I am well aware of the success the trojans have had against SEC teams this decade.
