Their vowels may not be great but hey this song is really hard to learn as im sure everyone watching this knows.....and yes sure they could have been better but heyyyy they gave it a shot

Some high schools are ready for this rigor of music. I was also a member of Texas region 13 choir and pre-area

@sksmsqkqhrkdkslek wow, its a SCHOOL orchestra!! Cmon, John Rutter's music is a pile of wank anyway! Polishing a turd?

I'll have to agree with the comments... However, North penn High School did a much better job... Check out their performance... Back in 1983, I was fortunate to be a member of the Kentucky All-State Chorus and we performed all 3 movements and it was AMAZING! Imagine over 400 voices singing it with PERFECT diction and vowels!! Too bad there wasn't "Youtube" back then...

@nightwishwolf999 yeah, we did it in high school as well, and it was quite good. I have it on audio, but not video. Perhaps I should put some random images with the vocals...it blows this out of the water.

I agree. Their diction is horrible. My choir instructor would have smacked us with the baton if we had pronounced the language this way. Oh dear GOD.

no offense or anything but when everyone sings together, it sounds like little elementary school students are singing it. Very little vowel emphasis. They are 'talk singing'. Singing and talking should be in two completely different styles when singing this style of music -.-

@xXsuccubusXvampireXx some high school choirs can pull it off. When I was a sophomore in high school, I sung in choir and we did a fabulous job with it. Unfortunetly, no one taped it so we couldn't get it on youtube D:
woaaah/ way horrible vowels and bad brass...

no offense but this choir is horrible.. They should haven't sung this song.. this piece takes lots of efforts, and it looks like they didn't work that hard, or the director just couldn't control his choir and orchestra.. feel sorry for John Rutter..
