  • i was stood in bunkers with my dad [ r-i-p dad ]..think there was 47,000+ at the game and yes theres was stoke fans in bunkers...

  • Remember this game well I got to meet Gordon Banks a few years back at a football dinner. He remembered the game and I seem to remember seeing a pic in the Daily Mail taken by a photographer near the end of the game Terry Neil rose at a ball from a corner headed goalwards and Banks reached back the ball looked to be past the goalpost. I said to Banks that from the picture it looked a goal. "DID THE REF GIVE IT" he said, "NO" I said, then it wasn'nt a F...ng .goal then was it he said.

  • The South Stand was one of the finest around. When did the away end get changed to a Supermarket?

  • I was there in the best stand with my mum. I remember Stoke being a dirty side. Many dirty tackles wore Hull down. Hull were the better team and should have won this game.

  • Fascinating insight. The crowd behind the goal seems to be 50/50 Stoke Hull fans. Amazing.

  • i like the micky pejic bit @ about 2.50 mins looked at first like he was going to give the keeper a "crackley kiss" , lucky for the keeper he only nutted the ball, still cant fathom out why the ref dint allow it??

  • i think we can beat hull on saturday :)

  • like what you see? dont be nervous! MESSAGE ME (msn)! T

  • These old footy clips are the only soccer I watch these days. They don't make 'em like this any more.

  • I was standing behind the goal at the south stand end. It broke my heart when we lost this game.
