Hello. Everyone. this is a play version of the film by the same title that starred Helena Bonham cater and Aaron Eckhart. This was for my upper class directing course in college. It was part of a two nigh showcase of short plays. No profit was gained by this production. Also note that Hans Canosa the film director of CWOW had given me his blessing to direct this play version of his film. So no copy right infringement was done. I hope you enjoy this. Mind you we only had one shot to do this so i think for the only run of this it came out awesome and my actors are so awesome and they made this journey even more memorable and wonderful.

WOMAN: Kate Lovell
MAN: Elias Andrinoupolous (acting debut)
CAMERAMAN: Neil Engelman (acting debut)
BRIDESMAID: Laura Kraybill
Directed by: Jocelyn Padilla

  • I admire your courage and effort that you put on this cause anyone can notice this...but i just want to say something... the girl tries too hard, delivers her lines pretty fast and the guy sometimes looks pretty natural but others loses the rithym of the conversations...but then again its hard not compare this with the movie cast...oh well good for you on doing this!!

  • @alita031 It's not a matter of them trying to hard or losing it...they made it their own..and although some lines did seemed lost they only had one shot to do this. I think my actress found humor in a lot of parts that helena didn't have and my actor found sadness and vulnerablity that at time aaron didn't display in the film. THat's why I love it helena and aaron were awesome but on stage you got to do things a lttle different. but thank you so much for your input! <3

  • "The illusion of effortlessness requires a great effort indeed." One of my favorite lines :)

You did such an amazing job adapting this! I love it!
