also, have you tried a proper take in the unit? because it could be the wire attached to your tape adapter causing a problem with it not seating properly inside the unit..

cause it's the factory radio and our vehicles, have a bose system that if we change the radio... we gotta change it all since it'll sounds like a complete and utter piece of shit, cause of bose speakers
