Annette Crosbie & Keith Michell star in the first episode, chronicling Catherine's arrival in England on 2nd October 1501 & her marriage to Prince Arthur, followed shortly after by his death. The play continues through her Widowhood, showing her difficulties at Henry VII's Court. On his death in 1509, Henry VIII proposed marriage and King and Queen were crowned together on 24th June 1509. The play then follows the torment surrounding their difficulties in begetting children, and the infamous annulment of their marriage union. Crosbie was awarded a much deserved BAFTA for her performance, the definitive Catherine in my opinion. It is also one of the only performances to show Catherine with her correct colourings.

  • I wished that Henry VIII stayed with the Catherine of Aragon.

  • I wished that henry viii and catherine of aragon sons had survived.

  • but canada would still be in the british empire, strange but if catherine of aragon and henry viii sons had survived in 1516 spain would become part of uk, so spain would be english and the americas would be a funny mixter of english and french and portuguese, but in the america's mexico usa and south america except from brazil would be 100% english, but canada would still be french and english, and brazil would be portuguese,

  • And if catherine of aragon and henry 8 sons had survived, and in 1516 spain became part of the uk, and south america and mexico would be speaking english instead of spanish and the usa would be english with out any spanish speaking areas and in 1776 there would still be american revolution but no 7 year war , and in the american revolution the american's would win it easy because mexico and south america would side with them and then also break away from the british empire, continue ,

  • If catherine of aragon and henry 8 sons had survived, by 1516 spain would be part of the uk,and that mean's south armerica and mexico would be speaking english instead of spanish and the usa would be 100% english without any spanish speaking areas but brazil would still be portuguese anyway and canada would still be english and french anyway, no elizabeth and no spanish armada in 1588, and no 7 year war with france in 1700s and england would be powerfulest empire in the 16 centray up to today.>

  • Catherine of Aragon was one of the greatest and powerfulest women in history,

she even had more power than her sister joanna the mad, henry viii was better of with the Catherine of Aragon and there sons should of survived.
