Our eventful hot air balloon landing while on a shoot for Steelhead Advertising at the 2010 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Even with a skilled pilot you're at the mercy of mother nature's wind currents when up in a hot air balloon and your landing site is never certain. Our pilot was able to spot a distant field to land us in, but we came in low and fast, clipping a small berm. Our basket skipped across the field like a flat stone over water and we were dragged about 50 yards before a ground crew was able to wrangle and stop the balloon. All in all a thrilling landing.
