Jasper- 15.1H(yes we measure) 8yo Gelding for sale. Black and white paint, stands for farrier, vet, loads, clips, ties, cross-ties, saddles and bits up quietly. Has been through plastic bag and tapping test on video here and rode over/around obstacles. If you are looking for a reliable horse he is the same everywhere you take him but he is NOT a PLUG which means he does not ignore people or his surroundings. He rides fine and will go easily with no whip no spur, has a soft mouth and rides with a little snaffle or even a hackamore. Before he came to us he was a child's horse to play on, he learned to go on with kicking and beginner hands. Which mostly he was probably trotted hence why he didnt pick up his canter without longtrotting into it at first. However after a couple of training rides he learned very quickly to pick up his lovely smooth canter. He is a very curious boy and will stick his face into every bucket and trash can if you allow him. If Jasper sees something that gets his attention he doesn't bolt, jump, or panic, he simply stops-reaches his nose out to touch it then walks on. A horse that will babysit plus move your family up in riding. Has potential to jump or just be that family trail horse with loads of love he will amount to anything!
