  • It truly astounds me that some overzealous "critics" on this video shoot Maestro Shaham down for....his intonation? If this does not meet the standards of today's (admittedly high) level of perfection, then I am afraid to see what you think of other great artists.

As the cellist Zuill Bailey says, "A critic is someone who watches the battle from the sidelines and then goes down to shoot the dead".

This is a truly phenomenal performance; I can feel the love and passion in every note.

  • Those can, they play. Those who cannot, they teach. Those who can do neither, become critics. Please stop criticising great performers. Remember they are humans, and they are trying their best

  • His bow is really tigh

  • Grande grande....grande, Shaham!

  • they can criticise whatever they want to, because they are few people, you just have to see that 579 likes vs. 12 dislikes

I think he is great and also Sarasate who is from my city.

  • that seems doable... I think

  • @idiotbrianyu It makes off-the-string and thrown strokes easier. I've often seen it when show pieces are performed.

  • @antar1485 so true

  • Really brilliant playing.

  • amazing performance, so clear. Genial. I love it.

  • (All "smart people" hit with stones a tree with fruits) ;)

  • Whats wrong with his bow? Why he need to make it so tight?
