I got distracted when watching this

As a 25 year old who grew up wary of "Web 2.0" and the cell phone craze, I can say I saw this coming, and I don't feel very sympathetic to those who suffer from this addiction, because despite the evolutionary tripe about being "hard wired for distraction", that's not even scratching the surface of the real reason: we want to be accepted, and we've been conditioned to believe we won't be accepted unless we adapt to modern bullshit and keep up with the pace.

Please destroy ALL the world's "smart" (hah!) phones, iPads, Nexii 7 etc, smash them with a gigantic crusher and BURN THEM ALL, together with ALL tools, designs and schematics that their manufacture, and ALL the code that they run, including source code. Destroy IT ALL... we won't miss a single thing, we will be BETTER OFF, if only we would come OFF Facebook for a while to contemplate that thought.

I've been saying this FOR AGES, but all the usual excuses and numb acceptance of the resignation to "how things are", were the responses I got. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS - I knew I wasn't alone in my thinking. "Social" networks are COMPLETELY the opposite - my friend sits in my house, tapping away on his S3 **WHILST VISITING _ME_ AND DRINKING MY TEA** ... and he's on FACEBOOK!!!

This world is seduced into a mental dumb slumber of eternal distraction from pointless guff!

that is in my opinion just a feeling people have. what I I use is just the same old crappy Nokia t and we dont quit joking about it and comparing it to the Iphone. People get a first impression of you depending on what you have(clothes, acessories, etc) then a 2nd impression once they start talking to you, so they get your ideals, your opinions, the way you act the way you talk, even the way you walk. But once you get to know some1 that doesnt get in the way anymore to my eyes.
