I was there a few weeks ago! I met Nick, he was very nice. He was kind enough to take me and show me their kiln while they were firing. It was very interesting I had a blast made for a great trip.

Hi not to butt-in, but,
Chicken Bricks are a like an old Dutch oven to roast chickens in. " Pots in the Kitchen" by Jose Waters, is a wonderful resource for such things as this and many older crockery ware pieces and uses. There are several other examples of Bernard's, David's and John's work in her book as well as some of Philip's and Frannie's I believe. I borrow a copy from the library quiet often, it's wonderful like all of Simon's work.
