@jabooper If you want a person dead you need good bullet placement (or .50 BMG), but i think when people talk "stopping power", they're talking about non instantly lethal shots such as in the gut or in a non critical part of the chest. I think operatives would want a round that could drop an enemy even with a gut shot so they could finish him off before he gets back up instead of a round that would just make someone scream ouch and continue shooting.

@jabooper It matters of how good of a marksman you are. I'm pretty sure you can take somone down easily with this weapon. Plus the Navy SEALs use this weapon alot

@LOVEmyAMERICA117 It's not terrible but there's better rounds out there. And you don't want a wounded person who could possibly fight another day, you want a person dead.

Well if the 5.56 round is so terrible as this guy makes it sound then mabye we should just take it away from all of our troops in Aphganistan. Oh wait, apparently it's not that bad if we're still using it. He was shooting at a metal plate with no feelings. If you were shooting at a real person he would be on the ground crying in pain.
