  • Robbie Robertson!

  • i just heard tom on pandora, and damn im blown away with that first song

  • Awesome!

  • I saw Tom live at the Texas State Fair in about 2000. He is every bit as good live and his CD "Translucent Harp" is a 4/5. 2 tracks rate on my top rated playlist and 3 or 4 others are solid.

  • my god, probably the most underrated guitar player ever!

  • YouTube never ceases to amaze me. I was just flipping through the channels here in Nashville and found this guy playing this crazy thing on CATV. And sure enough it's on here!! That channel has crap usually, it is local cable access of course, but that was HIGHLY entertaining. Shinness plays all manner of odd stringed instruments, like a 12 string guitar strung and tuned to a mandocello I believe is what he said. Great stuff!

  • Tom Shinness is a one man wonder! I wonder if people know this is from a television show in Nashville. This program has presented a wealth of talent for local Nashvillians, but it would be great to see more on You Tube, or somewhere for the rest of us. The other guy in the shot is Don McNatt, who hosts and produces the show for CATV .

  • Wait, did you fix something? It's in sync! SWEET!

  • q elegancia de guitarra¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡y la toca exelente q maestro¡¡un saludo desde colombia¡¡¡

  • The guitar playing did not seem in accord with what was audible. Was it just not in sync or was that some playing going on with music in the background? At any rate, I really enjoyed what I heard!

    ...have a 1914 model myself.
