All I could think of while watching his audition is... "What a fool!" He's married with a baby on the way and he quits his job to try out for American Idol. I guess if he sang better I wouldn't care as much, but his voice isn't that great and I dont see him getting past Hollywood week. The judges would have been kinder it they just sent him back home now, maybe he could still get his old job back.

my god you guys are so mean about this. his voice is okay he just needs to work on a few things about it. maybe his wife and him talked about it over and over and finally just gave him a chance cause she loves him so much. so give the guy some credit about it shit

i mean...sure, it seems stupid to quit a job to do this with his circumstances and the fact that his voice really isn't up to par with most other people on here....but if he can somehow manage to get through to the top 40, you get paid every week you perform for that...not much, and most goes to wardrobe for the next performance's outfit, but still...plus, i'm willing to bet they have some saved up for while he's gone...so it's not like he's leaving them high and dry to pursue his dream
