they're just like a group of men in a sala jamming til morning, they can play aaaaall day just like nothing happened not knowing that the audience already descended to a musical coma and revived again 24 times.

@kuhchicken Yeah! that would be so great! but first im studing Gambale, the harmony and soloing aspects to them some day move to the Stanley technique. Good luck to you too!

@Jerobeel Stanley Jordan is great too. I've never studied with him, but I did see him perform at a very small club promoting his very first album before he had made much of an impact. He's a great guy too - he sat with us during his break. It was obvious that he had much talent and a very unique take on guitar. Just imagine if you could combine his tapping with Gambale's sweeping....there you'd really have something. Good luck to you!

I attended GIT when Frank was still a student, but he was 6 months ahead of me (playing wise he's light years ahead of most of us, but I digress.) The first time I saw him he was playing in unplugged in our lunch area, singing a bunch of Steely Dan tunes, and sounding great. Then he pulled out some of his sweeping stuff, and it was like...what the f...did he just do? There are a whole lot of players who aredifficult to copy..I think as a whole, Frank's nearly impossible.

i wish i could play like him someday........
