  • Smooth and nice timing. Try and sharpen the finishing position so there is clear definition as to where the techniques finish and the next starts, and accelerate a bit more. Also the side kicks are in danger of turning into back kicks. Good luck for IV though dude!

  • Thanks for the reply! yeah, I know there are still kinks- we have just over a month though- target date for test is 12/14/2009

  • thats ok ! keep going~

  • thanks! we've done ok overall- we have a testing date in December.. just a few kinks to iron out of the patterns

  • Here's the pattern history

CHOI-YONG is named after General Choi Yong, premier and commander in chief of the armed forces during the 14th century Koryo Dynasty. Choi Yong was greatly respected for his loyalty, patriotism, and humility. He was executed by his subordinate commanders headed by general Yi Sung Gae, who later became the first King of the Lee Dynasty.

  • It's not really designed to be elliptical bruce- there could be said to be almost some elliptical movement but the pattern itself is linear . The pattern diagram is a plus sign.

Thanks for noticing the 'smoothness' as it's designed to be 'natural' and not choppy.. I'm not always great with it- but I am continuing to get better (not as good as some i've seen perform the pattern- not as good as I can be, or have been, but not as bad as I've seen either in performing it

  • Yeah, it's not specifically that I was 'oh well' but I wasn't extremely happy with my performance.... I can always (and have) done better- my knee buckled very slightly at one part and that threw me off (amongst other things)

  • Relatively smooth but linear in movement.

do you find when put into full speed that your moves become a bit more elliptical?

Thanks for sharing, cool stuff :)
