My Auntie Reg showed me the chords for this. It was the third song I ever learned how to play, and I molded it into my own version! My playing is probably unorthodox because I don't take lessons. I just get chord changes and make some rhythm that matches.

  • I liked it, it had character, and depth, it moves and breaths, it is a live, thanks ,

  • I Love your voice and interpretation...don't let them get you down!

  • @samtotheg who I am on the youtubes is not a reflection of who I am in real life, but i do realize im too quick write something off ...the aha moment came when i was listening to aja i thought the song sucked ...come to find out halfway thru the damn thing steve gadd tears the song up and it sounds badass, but i wasnt patient soooo ima chillout and hear yer song...in fact when my bass gets fixed ima play bass to yer song and put it on here

  • @cocomaire it doesnt sound that bad ..you get some brushes behind that and boom its decent and a good bassline it cud make for something. hmm interesting elitist ive heard that, lol i like to think i know alot about the subject ive been playin bass for 7 years guitar for 10 drums for 8 piano for 3 . play a bit of jazz, samba , rock n roll punk, early metal (its not all bad ) blues etc....listen to everything under the sun, but im actual very friendly in person except if yer a republican lol dont

  • @cocomaire ok fair enuff, and after the shit ive been thru on the metal pages rofl (not that they made me feel bad but putting things in perspective....this music is by FAR more enjoyable then the garbage they were selling me, at least you sing in key and dont make noise like the metal retards, and im not hatin on yer chops or lack of my issue wasnt a wrong note here or there , who cares its adventourous musicians who are remembered it was the quiet stormatize way u re did this song..,meh it

  • Respond to this video... this is my hobby, not my job. and this song is akin to a dick and jane beginner reader series book. i don't know if i possess the courage to really study and find out if i could ever develop the chops of my dreams, but just to let you know, this vid definitely doesn't represent them. musicians know that familiarity with the instrument frees the creativity of the player. i'm not there yet.

  • @samtotheg okay, so you thought i wouldn't take the word "garbage" as a put down... right. i'm aware that i'm making myself vulnerable to mean comments by posting videos, which is why i don't always read comments or take them seriously, but i feel like your criticism is elitist in a way that i find intriguing. i grew up around jazz musicians, many of whom could be very elitist. i'm do not consider myself in the same realm as these players, or even a real musician at all. i'm only learning...

  • my god i love your voice!
