@Truthnuff ....that makes sense, because he didn't perform with the band again until '84....

Correction! Jermaine reunited with the Jack sons after leaving MOTOWN! He signed with Arista and met:(you guessed it) Whitney Houston and Clive Davis. Meeting Whitney a good thing! Meeting Clive: that made me wish that he had stayed at Motown!

I remember when they sang this in Chicago @ The International Amphitheatre In 72 I believe and let me tell you all hell broke lose!!! There was two young ladies sitting next to me one passed the f**k out and the other literally jumped from our first balcony row down to the main floor and made a mad dash along with hundreds of others to the stage!!! Pure pandemonium!!! Aaaah...memories....

I LOVE THIS SONG!!
I WISH I WAS AROUND IN THOSE DAYS.......THE GOOD OLD DAYS!!!!

@SILICONALI420001 - I was also around at that time (I am 42, and have been collecting records since '73.)
I reiterate. Michael never left The Jacksons. Jermaine did. 1976. He stayed behind with Motown. Everyone else left and went 2 Philadelphia Intl/Epic...and then resigned with Epic in '77. Jermaine rejoined the Jacksons in 1984 after his contract with Arista was done.
U're welcome.

@TJthepianoplayer I could be wrong
@IrisMG
The jackson 5 were as big as the Beatles worldwide, they were called The Black Beatles. And Jermaine Jackson and Jackie Jackson were the 2 most famous members of the group, not Michael. He was cute, yes, but it was Jermine that girls wanted to be with and boys wanted to be like. When Jermaine married Hazel Gordy it was televised across the world and billed as a royal wedding. Marvin Gaye was so jeallous that he didn't attend the wedding. He thought Jermaine was taking over his spot.
