http://www.netbooknews.com The ASUS EA800 an "eReader on Steroids" had an early release in Taiwan for $300 and its software was just short of everything you'd ever need as a student. But it looks like ASUS has realized its woes and is coming to market at a much more appropriate price of sub $200. There has been no word to this point of a US price point or release date but ASUS Campus Life, a website dedicated to students and their computing needs is touting the Reader as a sub $200 device. The Eee Note can hold and display up to 10,000 ebooks in its 4GB internal memory, which can obviously be expanded with a micro SD.
What a crappy ad:D

This ereader would be even better if it showed color. I wish these things were around when I first started going to college, it would have made things much easier.
