  • @LaceyExile16 same as a lovie.

  • would a reptile heating pad work?

  • @CZGOD no.

  • Do I need a heating pad if I live in MAUI HAWAII??? at sea level? It seems pretty hot.

  • @lialia719 As long as the baby is between 73 and 83 degrees, you do not need one.

  • my bird lay an egg and then later like a week or two weeks later she lays two more egss at the bottom of the cage so i go buy some things like new chavings for the nestbox so i put the next box at the bottom of the cage i grab the eggs and put them inside but they wont go back in what should i do? plz explain

  • can you use aspen wood shavings instead of carefresh?

  • For those of you who keep asking... we set up a new brooder and used this method, it is a good method, and we, like many of you, had to find another heating pad. I could not find that exact heating pad anywhere, but there is one like it. There is a Sunbeam pad similar to the one used in the vid available from Amazon.com for $25. It has 6 setting and an OPTIONAL auto-off. Test the heat settings to find which work best for you. That was the best one I could find for the job.

  • Great video and great brooder set up. I would like to point out, from one breeder to another, that it is actually the natural carefresh bedding the one that looks like dirty shredded newsprint, that is the natural chemical-free one, and not the white. The white is bleached and contains white dyes. It may be prettier, but the natural kind is what I think you're going for with that recommendation.
